"We knew the enemy would be expecting us. We had to hit them with everything we had."

—Cole Wright

All Guns Blazing is the fourth mission in Campaign 1.

Summary[]

The team has infiltrated the castle—there are several wounded allies, all on the brink of death. Cole tells Jacob Hall that his first priority is a scout, who's still alive. Hall scans the area, and tells Wright that there don't seem to be too many Nazi's, but Cole dismisses this, telling the private to not be fooled, and that's exactly what the German's wanted them to think.

Cole and Jacob take cover: two Nazi's are having a conversation, while a deceased American soldier lies at their feet. Wright then proceeds to kill them, and he and Hall check on the fallen soldier: Cole grows frustrated when he feels that his body is still warm, and rues that they should have gone in earlier. In front of them is the scout, which is revealed to be Dean Miller, and Cole rushes to bandage him up. Before they could even begin talking, it is revealed that Dean was a trap to lure the American soldier's in, because suddenly, they're in an ambush.

After facing the ambush, Cole picks up two grenades. Dean tells Wright that he thought that he was a goner, and that he owes him his life. The squad them comes face to face with a barricade, and Cole asks Miller if he could get it out of the way. As Dean places the charges, Nazi soldier's come hinder them, but Cole and Jacob are able to fend them off. Dean successfully blows up the barricade, and the squad advances to the castle, where they come face to face wth the final defense, which meant that the enemy soldiers were going to be more ruthless and violent, determined to get Cole away from the castle.

Cole picks up 3 more grenades, and studies the battle in front of him: there is an MG Nest, which he takes out with one of his grenades. Swarms of enemies come at them from every angle, including the castle itself, but the squad is able to defend their position. Eventually, the reinforcements die down, and Cole asks Dean to blow up the castle's gate, and Miller tells him to keep his distance. As he places the charges on the door, he tells everyone to clear the area. The doors and blown into smithereens, and the mission then comes to an end.
