"There was no chance of us securing the area. I ordered the team to maintain the assault outside, whille I infiltrated the castle to obtain the documents."

—Cole Wright

Castle Storm is the fifth mission in Campaign 1.

Summary[]

Before the mission is started, James Gann, a sniper specialist, is unlocked.

Following the events of Final Defense, Cole and James infiiltrate the castle: the castle holds documents that could be the key to ending some of their struggles. The castle is in shambles, due to Dean Miller's charges from the previous mission. Cole and James take cover, where two Nazi's are speaking. James tells Cole that they needed to get upstairs if they wanted to secure the documents. Cole agrees, and then takes out the two Nazi's in front of them.

The battle begins, and the two men advance. Cole takes cover beside a crate, where he finds a molotov. The castle is heavily fortified, and just as Cole prepares himself to fight them off, an air strike from above drops bombs onto the castle. The impact is so powerful, it causes a chandelier to fall from the ceiling, smashing and killing some German soldiers underneath. James tells them to keep moving, and so they do.

They reach a staircase, where a few German soldiers are waiting for them, but Gann and Wright are able to take them out. They advance closer, where Cole find another crate, this one with another molotov. James and Cole finally advance to the office where the documents are located, and three Nazi's crash through the window, while a fourth one emerges from behind a desk. Cole uses his molotov to take them out, and searches the office for the documents.

"Where are those goddamn files?!"

—Cole, Castle Storm

There are 3 different desks, as after he finishes checking one of them, swarms of enemy soldiers hassle him and James. Finally, Cole manages to find what he was looking for. James tells him that the documents were secured, and he and James run out of the office, looming over the enemy reinforcements underneath them.

Wright asks Gann if he was ready for the hellish battle they were about to face.
