- "Art, I thought they were kidding me! 3 years I'd been putting my life on the line, and then Command sends me on a mission to recover some goddamn stolen artworks. I promised to retrieve their precious art, but I also planned to tell them where to shove their art once I completed the mission."
Lawrence Dailey is an American soldier. He becomes the new protagonist in Brothers in Arms 3: Sons of War, after Cole Wright's death in Denmark. Lawrence Dailey appears in Campaign 9, Arena, and the African Campaign. He has been in the army for quite a short time, and has earned the rank of First Segeant, higher than his predecessor, Cole.
Physical Appearance[]
Dailey is a tall man with a skinny build, light skin, light blonde hair, and brown eyes. Since he is aging, he has wisps of white hairs beginning to grow on either side of his head. He has a light stubble, and a long scar running down his right eye. He has a strong jaw, and sculptured cheekbones. Dailey usually seen wearing a dark green jacket over a black T-shirt. He has a few pouches on his chest, and has many different utilities strapped to his body. On his chest is a parachutist badge, which shows that he is a skilled pilot.
Personality[]
Lawrence is a short-tempered war veteran, already having experienced the situation of the African Campaign. Unlike his even-tempered predecessor, Cole, he has a bad attitude towards war, and complains about orders that he doesn't necessarily agree with. An example of this is when Command sends him to retrieve stolen art in Cherbourg, France, and he is so frustrated to the point where he plans to tell Command ‘where to shove their art’. This is a far cry from Cole, who writes:
“War has taught me to never question orders. The assassination of Sam Foster, however, was something I struggled not to question. But an order is an order. And a traitor is a traitor.”
Despite all this, he is a tactical and intelligent leader. Dailey has risen to the rank of First Sergeant, which is impressive since it was confirmed that he has only 3 years worth of experience in the army. He is willing to do anything to help the squad.
