Rachelle "L'Hirondelle" Dubois is a rebellious woman, who was a leading figure within the French Resistance. She is the love interest of Sergeant Cole Wright.
Physical Appearance[]
Rachelle is a young caucasian woman, which a thick French accent. She has short, curly, dark hair, and bangs. She is quite stylish, sporting a dark brown trench coat, over a pale green collared shirt, and occasionally wears a scarf. She completes the outfit with long brown trousers, and a black leather belt.
Personality[]
Rachelle is a brash, yet skilled resistance fighter with a rebellious streak. She is determined for France's freedom, but can be wreckless and rash, as she was almost killed after getting caught by the German forces. Like Cole, she values success over safety, a decision that almost cost her life, had it not been for Major Bastion. Upon meeting Cole, her demeanor was cold and distant at first, despite just being rescued by him. Cole remained patient, and reassured her that he was sent by Major Bastion. However, it took awile for Rachelle to trust Cole and the rest of the brothers. She is an intelligent leader, who's fluent in both French and English.
Chapter 2: Audrieu, Normandy, France[]
Rachelle was first mentioned in the Chapter 2, Mission 1: Quick Steal. Major Bastion found out that her resistance team was in trouble, and he ordered Cole's squad to move fast to ensure their safety. When she was first introduced in Chapter 2, Mission 3: L'Hirondelle, she is first seen about to be executed. However, shows no fear, despite being seconds away from death. Even after Cole manages to rescue her, her guard was still up. She points an accusatory finger at him, and demands to know who he was:
C: "L'Hirondelle?"
R: "Who is asking?"
C: "Sergeant Cole Wright, ma'am. Sent by Major Bastion. Let's get you outta here."
After the War[]
Although not knowing each other for very long, Rachelle and Cole grow close during their short time together. It is unknown exactly how long they spent with one another, but their friendship soon blossomed into a loving relationship. It is confirmed that they consummated their relationship. However, both had to go their separate ways: Rachelle had to lead the resistance, and Cole had to lead his brothers. But, this didn't stop them, as they made sure to keep in touch through letters:
C: "Before I found you, I never thought it possible that love could blossom in this hellhole."
R: "Cole, each minute away from you feels like weeks; maybe months. With each letter, I anxiously await the next, hoping and praying that it will arrive."
C: "[...]A bright sunrise awaits us—when the guns and bombs are silenced, and it's just you and me, my love. Just you and me."
R: "I dream of you each night. Of being in your arms again, your soft whispers in my ear..."
C: "Wait for me, Rachelle. Our sunrise awaits."
Skills[]
Bilingual: Rachelle can speak fluent English and French.
Strategic Skill: As the leader of the French Resistance, she is an exceptionally skilled tactician with great observation skills, and superb capacity for planning for the long term before acting. However, sometimes she can be brash.
Experienced Combatant: Although he has no formal training in hand-to-hand combat, Rachelle is a capable fighter, due to her being able to fight on par and even defeat various Nazi soldiers.
Marksmanship: Rachelle, like Cole, has shown to have incredible accuracy when operating a rifle.

- It is speculated that they grew close so fast due to their identities as leaders: Cole, a sergeant, and Rachelle, a La Résistance leader. This means they had to have spent a lot of time together, planning their next move
- Both Cole and Rachelle are rash, and often prioritize their team's success over their own lives
- Their love story ends tragically, after Cole's untimely death
- Rachelle is never seen or mentioned after her debut in Campaign 2
